Practical Magnification.

If I just measure the images on the screen, I get the following approximation. At low magnification, 10mm looks like 25 mm creating an apparent 2.5 power. At medium magnification, 10mm looks like 115 mm creating an apparent 11.5 power. At high magnification, 1 mm looks like 65 mm creating an apparent 65 power.

The images at high magnification are quite hard to obtain and there is considerable distortion. In practical terms most of the useable images will be in the 10-20 power range.

The best thing about this magnifier is that I can take it outside without linking it to a computer.
